Hello!  I am Kate, a stitch artist, mostly creating threadpaintings using free-motion embroidery.  Living in Emsworth on the south coast of England, my art is inspired by the natural world and the local environment.  Coming from a family of birders, I have inherited a passion for birds.  I love to get out with my binoculars and much of my work is inspired by the birds I see, particularly coastal and seabirds.

As well as framed artworks, I stitche a range of distinctive art cushions, tiny bees and I am working on expanding my range of bespoke beach huts.  I often work to commission, so if you see something that you like please do get in touch!
